The Leadership Development Program (LDP) is a dynamic initiative designed to inspire and shape the next generation of leaders within GAAR, the real estate sector, and the local community. This transformative program offered biennially, equips participants with essential leadership skills and strategies and is open exclusively to GAAR and Affiliate Members.

The training, beginning in November 2024, spans four months and consists of intensive modules, including "Know Your Why," communication skills, performance excellence, conflict resolution, and adapting to change. Sessions are scheduled for one day a month on the first Friday, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, and include lunch. In January, participants will engage in REALTOR® Day at the Round House in Santa Fe. The program culminates in March with a graduation ceremony at the Awards Gala.

Graduates of the LDP have significantly grown their leadership skills within their brokerages, companies, and professional networks. Many have gone on to attain leadership positions on GAAR boards and committees, where they continue to make impactful contributions. Serving on a board or committee not only enhances your influence within the industry but also provides a platform to shape the future of real estate, advocate for key issues, and drive positive change in your community.

• Friday, November 1st:  Orientation and Aspirational Knowledge + Find your Why with Gary Sanchez
• Friday, December 6th: Communication Skills + Navigating Conflict with Jen Fry
• January 30th:  Advocacy at REALTOR® Day at Legislation Session at the Round House*
  (*This will be a full day of travel, sessions, meetings, and meals in Santa Fe. Transportation will be provided.)
• Friday, February 7th: Leadership Management and Performance Excellence +  Know you Why with Gary Sanchez
• Friday, March 14th:  LDP Class of 2024 Graduation at the Awards Gala

• REALTOR® Members in good standing with at least one year of experience
