On Tuesday, March 1, municipalities in Sandoval and Valencia County will hold Municipal Officer Elections. If you reside in either county, below is some important information regarding the election.

Deadlines for the 2022 Municipal Officers Election

• February 1: Voter registration (by mail or online) closes
• February 1: First day that absentee ballots can be mailed to voters (who have submitted an absentee application), and first day of Early Voting (municipal clerk’s office)
• February 12: Expanded Early Voting begins at alternate voting locations
• February 24: Last day to request an absentee ballot
• February 26: Last day of early voting
• March 1: Election Day
