Understanding Proposed SWMLS Bylaws Changes

In the video below, SWMLS Director Richard Gibbens reviews the proposed changes to the current SWMLS Bylaws. He has categorized the changes as Major, Minor, or Reality items to better explain any impact of the proposed changes.

At the GAAR/SWMLS Annual Meeting on Wednesday, December 7th at the Marriott Pyramid North, Designated REALTORS® will be issued a ballot that will allow you to approve all changes or to approve only selected changes.

NOTE: Proposed changes to Section 10.2 that have previously been communicated have been removed due to conflict with NAR Mandatory Bylaws. Additionally, a new sentence was added to Article 6.4 imposing term limits on Directors, also to align with NAR Mandatory Bylaws. Click the first link below to see the changes.
