OK, there's probably no shortage of items on your to-do list today. But here's a really important one that might have slipped through the cracks: Vote. Yep, there's an election today. It's one of those where there's no big marquee item — a recipe for low turnout. But some contested City Council seats, a heap of bond issues and the question of whether to increase the gross receipts tax to fund the Albuquerque BioPark are in the mix. The lines should be short — and, as my mom says, if you don't vote, you lose your right to complain about the outcome.

Reporters Sal Christ and Stephanie Guzman broke the news last month that Bank of Albuquerque was moving its headquarters from Downtown to the North I-25 corridor. Now, Bank of Albuquerque's relocating its Downtown branch, too. It's headed to 400 Tijeras Ave. NW, Christ reported last night.
