Join the City of Albuquerque for the 2024 State of the City Address and Expo at the ABQ BioPark Zoo on August 17th.

This free event is a fantastic opportunity for families to come together, learn about the city’s priorities and initiatives, and enjoy a picnic night at the Zoo. With interactive activities suitable for all ages, attendees can explore various city programs and community resources, visit animal habitats, and enjoy live music.

Pre-registration is required due to limited space, with gates opening at 5:45 p.m. and closing at 6:30 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and picnic supplies, as outside food and drinks are allowed, and Zoo concessions will also be available. Early arrivals, before 6:30 p.m., will enjoy free admission and have the chance to receive a free One Albuquerque picnic blanket, available while supplies last and limited to one per family. This event promises a fun, engaging, and informative evening for the whole family.
