What is Gala en Blanc?

Each year, the Annual Awards Gala has an ‘event theme’ and this year the LEAP Committee, choose “Gala en Blanc” as a takeoff from the original “Le Diner en Blanc” idea that began 35 years ago in Paris. But, the focus of the GAAR Awards Gala is to celebrate REALTOR® Members for their achievements in 2022 and there is no mandatory dress code.  

Do I have to wear white to attend?

Of course not! We are encouraging guests to wear white, but there is no requirement. Remember this event is meant to be fun and is not a fashion show!

What can I wear?

Being we live in New Mexico and at even the fanciest events, jeans, and boots are the norm, if you want to get into the spirit of ‘en blanc’ you can deck out in white… OR just throw something white into your outfit. A white shirt, white hat, white scarf, white shoes… white socks, etc!
