GAAR is offering an opportunity for dedicated members to step up and submit their interest for seven (7) open positions on the 2025 NMAR Board of Directors.

Serving as an NMAR Director is a prestigious and rewarding role, where you’ll work closely with representatives from local associations across New Mexico. If you’ve ever wanted to have a voice in shaping the real estate industry at a broader level, now is your chance!

What’s Involved?

NMAR Directors serve a two-year term, with the possibility of serving two consecutive terms. During this time, you will be expected to attend key meetings and play an important role in decision-making processes that influence the direction of real estate in New Mexico.

Here’s a snapshot of the commitment involved:

Two Annual NMAR Board of Directors Meetings - both include important pre-caucus and caucus meetings led by the Central District Vice President:

  1. Legislative Meeting (January): Stay up to date on policy changes and legislative initiatives that impact the real estate market and your clients.
  2. Annual Meeting (August): This event is held in rotating locations across New Mexico, giving you a chance to connect with professionals from all corners of the state.
