In memory of Ben Chavez

Ben Chavez was a member of the Greater Albuquerque Association of Realtors. He first obtained his license in 1960 and remained a Real Estate Broker for 56 years until he retired in 2016 at the age of 93. Ben founded Chavez & Co. with his brother Manuel in downtown Albuquerque on Gold Street. Later in life, Ben founded Ben Chavez Realty Co. on Central Ave. He built and maintained a successful business in commercial, residential and land development. Ben was known for his honesty and integrity in business and his community involvement. 

Services will be held Saturday May 27, 2017 at the Newman Center on the UNM Campus at 1815 Las Lomas Rd. NE. Mass will begin promptly at 10:00am followed immediately by a reception also at the Newman Center.
