There is currently an issue with the Bernalillo County Tax Assessor's Tax Calculator on their website, where it is not displaying the Prior Year Tax.

As mentioned in our recent Upcoming Changes video, the Prior Year Tax is a required component of the state statute of what a listing broker must provide to potential buyers prior to accepting an offer. In order to comply with this state requirement, the video below shows how you can get most of the information from the County Assessor, but then you should also pull the Tax Bill from the County Treasurer and include that as well. 

The Tax Levy Disclosure is not required at this time on SWMLS, but that rule will go into effect sometime early next year. However, the MLS is still the best method to use to meet the requirement from the state that is in effect now, so we do encourage everyone to start including that immediately. 

We have reached out to the County Assessor for a timeline for when this issue will be resolved.
