The Denim & Diamonds Event held on Friday, October 13, 2017, was a fundraiser for the REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC). RPAC promotes the election of pro-REALTOR® candidates across the United States. The purpose of RPAC is clear: voluntary contributions made by REALTORS® are used to help elect candidates who understand and support their interests. 

NAR and RANM have set goals for the Greater Albuquerque Association of REALTORS® RPAC.The GAAR RPAC organized this fundraiser to meet a few of our goals. This year's goal for GAAR is to collect $91,402.00 and have 23 Major Investors (a Major Investor is a REALTOR® Member who has contributed $1000.00 or more to the RPAC Fund). 

GAAR's RPAC has collected $63,814.00 as of October 18, 2017! This total includes the funds collected from the Denim & Diamonds Event. The event itself brought in a total of $15,650.00 in RPAC donations.

After the Denim & Diamonds Event, we now have a total of 17 Major Investors and we hope to have 6 more by December 31, 2017.

Thank you to all that donated to the RPAC Fund at our Event! We had a great time watching the Glowdeo and Afterglow Fireworks of the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta! The Event was held at the Anderson-Abruzzo International Balloon Museum in the first floor Sky Box Room. We had a little over 100 guests. The members that received an invitation had donated $20 or more to the RPAC Fund between September 1st, 2016 and September 1st, 2017.
