GAAR Annual Awards Gala Nominations Deadline Extended to Friday, February 2nd at 5:00 PM
During the annual GAAR Awards Gala, members recognize the top performing REALTORS® during the previous year. But we need your help! You can help honor your peers by nominating a REALTOR® member for any or all award categories.
Completing the nomination form does not take long. Just give us some details and complete a quick survey on why you think they should win!
What are the Award Categories?
2017 REALTOR® of the Year
If you know a REALTOR® associate who has GONE ABOVE AND BEYOND all other Realtors in his or her professional, community and personal life, click here to nominate him or her for 2017 REALTOR® of the Year.
2017 C.O. Nelson Award
Nominate a REALTOR® for the 2017 C.O. Nelson Award – the lifetime achievement award – if he or she demonstrates longevity and extensive achievement AND consistently models professionalism!
2017 Salesperson of the Year
If you know a REALTOR® associate who is no longer a rookie, but consistently ROCKS PRODUCTION beyond belief, click here to nominate them for 2017 Salesperson of the Year.
2017 Sales Manager of the Year
And how about those Sales Managers who are loved by all and EXCEL AT MANAGING all things real estate? Click here to nominate them for 2017 Sales Manager of the Year.
2017 Rookie of the Year
If there’s a newbie REALTOR® in your office who is KNOCKING PRODUCTION OUT OF THE PARK, click here to nominate them for 2017 Rookie of the Year.

And let’s not forget to give credit to our GAAR Affiliates. They have been a robust part of our community and profession, so we will once again take nominations to recognize an exceptional affiliate as 2017 Affiliate of the Year.
GAAR/Security Escrow Scholarship
Do you know a fellow REALTOR® who has a relative who desires to become a licensed REALTOR® associate? Nominate that relative for the GAAR/Security Escrow Scholarship and their pre-licensing education and exam fees will be covered by this scholarship!

How do I go about nominating someone? I don’t have much spare time!
As mentioned, completing the nomination form does not take long. Just give us some details and complete a quick survey on why you think your nominee should win! Nomination forms must be submitted to nominations@gaar.com as indicated at the bottom of the nomination form by 5:00 pm on February 2, 2018. Ballots received after that date may not be eligible for consideration. REALTOR® Members may submit only one nomination per award category.
Award winners will be announced at the 97th Annual Greater Albuquerque Association of REALTORS® Awards Gala at the Albuquerque Museum, March 2, 2018.
