On Friday, June 7th, New Mexico Living featured Good Neighbor Keith Powell.

In 2015, the Greater Albuquerque Association of Realtors (GAAR) created its Good Neighbor Awards. The awards recognize realtors who dedicate their time, money, and energy to charities and organizations, making a positive impact on the community.

One of 2023’s award recipients, Keith Powell, has been recognized for his volunteer service with the New Mexico Cancer Center Foundation. The local foundation supports cancer patients’ non-medical needs during treatment with financial, educational, and psychological support programs.

This year marks the second time Powell has been awarded in the GAAR Good Neighbor Awards. Powell says he aims to make the place where he lives a better place. His wife received treatment at the New Mexico Cancer Center, and now he is giving back to the organization that helped his family so significantly.
