This year, hundreds of REALTORS® from all over the state descended on Santa Fe for the RANM Leadership, Legislative and Business Meetings – commonly referred to the RANM’s Winter Conference.

In addition to the regular business of the conference, including committee meetings, district caucuses, and training, attendees were inspired by special guest, NAR’s President Elect Elizabeth Mendenhall. New Mexico REALTORS were also updated on RANM’s plans for the year and had a grand night for celebrating New Mexico and installing 2017 leaders.

On Thursday, REALTORS® packed into the Roundhouse to talk to state legislators to make their voices heard on real estate industry and homeownership advocacy issues.

The participants of GAAR’s Leadership Development Program (LDP) participated in the REALTOR® Day at the Roundhouse and were treated to a presentation and private tour from our own Executive Vice President and former state Senator, Kent Cravens. There were  special presentations from REALTOR® and state legislator, Representative Alfonzo Baldando and GAAR Appraiser and state legislator, Senator Sanders Rue. Participants were also pleasantly surprised by a visit from NAR President-Elect Mendenhall as she shared stories highlighting the importance of the REALTOR® Party and how it helps with local advocacy issues.

On Friday, Ashley Strauss-Martin wrapped up the conference with her very popular Legal Update.
