The Livability in the Land of Enchantment Speaker Series begins this week and will feature speakers over the next four months designed to address New Mexico’s growing housing affordability challenges.
Launched in 2023, this community education initiative features local and national speakers who engage residents and policymakers in meaningful discussions about how housing markets become unaffordable—and, more importantly, what can be done to ensure affordability, sustainability, and livability in our communities.
With its expansion in 2025, the Homewise Livability Series continues to be a critical force in reshaping public understanding, fostering community engagement, and driving policies that create more inclusive, livable communities across New Mexico.
