REALTORS® make an impact in the communities they work in. Our local REALTOR® are very busy in the community and it's hard to keep up. But, we are going to try with our new "Get Involved" section of gaar.com.

The new section on the website is designed to help members find the information they need when they need it for activities both at GAAR, with local charities and advocacy, and in the larger real estate community.

Through this "Get Involved" section of the website, you can:

• Volunteer for a GAAR or SWMLS committee through the Committees page.
• Join  affiliated groups of the larger real estate community to help you grow professionally through the Real Estate Community page.
• Network  with other real estate professionals through the Networking page.
• Advocate  for the real estate industry, homeownership and private property rights through the Political Advocacy page.
• Donate  your time, money or gifts to a local charity through the Community Outreach page.

The pages in this section will help you find information about our committees and how to participate or attend a meeting. It can help you connect to other societies and groups in the REALTOR® family, like our local Women's Council of REALTORS® and the Exchangors as well as GAAR's private Facebook groups for Members and Affiliates/Benefit Partners. You can learn more about the REALTOR® Fund, the Benevolent Fund and the Good Neighbor Program.

Before the busy Spring season takes off, take a few minutes to get acquainted on the new and improved website so you will know where to go later when you are in a rush.
