How Your Voice Can Shape Tomorrow’s Workforce

Building the Future of Real Estate

The real estate industry is constantly evolving, and as professionals in the field, we know how crucial it is to have a workforce that is well-prepared, knowledgeable, and equipped with the right skills. But how do we ensure that future professionals entering the industry are ready to meet the challenges and demands of our market? The answer is simple: by sharing our insights and expertise.

The College and Career Readiness Bureau of the New Mexico Public Education Department is launching a new initiative to enhance Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs in high schools and colleges across New Mexico. The goal is to align educational programs with industry needs, ensuring that graduates are trained with the skills and credentials necessary for real-world success. But to achieve this, we need your help!

How You Can Make a Difference

Real estate professionals have two key ways to contribute to this initiative and make an impact on the future workforce:

1. Participate in a Virtual Conversation

We are hosting a one-hour virtual discussion on Tuesday, March 11th at 9:00 am specifically for real estate professionals. This conversation will allow us to share firsthand the essential skills, knowledge, and qualifications that new entrants into the industry need to thrive. By participating, you’ll have a direct role in shaping educational programs that will produce job-ready talent for our field.

2. Take a Quick Survey

If you can’t make it to the virtual discussion, you can still make your voice heard! Take a 10-15 minute survey to provide valuable feedback about workforce needs in real estate. The more input we collect, the better we can shape programs that truly reflect industry demands. Click to Take the SURVEY

Why Your Participation Matters

Since real estate is a vital sector of the economy, your insights on necessary skills, industry expectations, and credentialing requirements will directly contribute to shaping curriculum and career preparation programs that produce skilled, knowledgeable, and industry-aligned professionals, reinforcing Pathway2Career’s goal of bridging education and workforce development.
