Local REALTOR® Adam Trubow is participating in the Leadville 100 Mile Trail Run on Saturday, August 20th, the final event of the Leadman Race Series. The series is made up of numerous endurance events. Beginning with a mountain marathon, a 50-mile trail run, a 100-mile mountain bike, and 10k on one weekend, ending with the famed 100-mile Leadville Trail run the final week. All events must be completed within two months and abide by strict cutoff times.
“I enjoy the endurance. Doing a hundred miles is a big undertaking” Adam says. Much like this undertaking, going back to school can be a challenge, this year’s 100 Friends for 100 Miles campaign is focused around the ‘Run It Back’ challenge, raising money to get students back in school so they can pursue higher education and life skills.
This will be the third year of the 100 Friends for 100 Miles fundraising campaign intended to bring renewed hope and support to fellow New Mexicans, particularly those who have met financial hardship in the past resulting in difficulty paying tuition and limited their ability to pursue higher education and life skills. The goal is to garner over $30,000 to benefit CNM students through direct donations to the CNM Foundation. This effort demonstrates how you can pay it forward and plant seeds of hope and optimism.
Over the last 30 years, the CNM Foundation has been dedicated to the mission that no student be denied an education due to financial barriers.
