A new study puts Albuquerque as the 83rd most expensive city to rent in the nation.
Zumper, a San Francisco-based apartment rental app, looked at the top 100 metro areas by population and found Albuquerque was one of five cities that saw rent prices increase in June.
The Zumper National Rent Report said Albuquerque's rent prices jumped 3.3 percent for a one-bedroom, and 3.7 percent for a two-bedroom. The median asking rate for a one-bedroom in June was $620, while a two-bedroom went for $840. The increase moved Albuquerque up four spots, ahead of Reno, Nevada; Columbus, Ohio; and Memphis, Tennessee.
Though Albuquerque was listed as the 83rd most expensive city, the city's median rents are significantly lower when compared to other cities. For a full list visit here.
