GAAR Office Construction Update

The renovation of the GAAR Office Building continues to progress at a steady pace. Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing rough-ins continue along with set decking and sheathing. Scaffolding of the entire building in preparation for stucco, as well as roofing, will begin today.
 
 

At the March Board Meeting, GAAR Directors approved furniture and audio/visual packages. The furniture package includes fixed auditorium seating, new classroom tables, and chairs, all of which will be used with the existing office furniture.

The audio/visual package includes state-of-the-art technology:

  • 4K laser projector with a 220” projection screen in the auditorium
  • 100" flat panel display in the boardroom
  • HD laser projectors with 160" projection screens in classrooms
  • Streaming cameras in classrooms
  • Confidence monitors on articulating mounts in classrooms
  • The upgraded speaker system will integrate with existing speakers 
  • Wireless presentation and conferencing system throughout
  • Digital room scheduling system
By all accounts, we continue to anticipate substantial completion in late June.
