Seeking Candidates for 2019 GAAR/SWMLS Board of Directors

Applications are now being accepted for REALTOR® members interested in serving on the 2019 GAAR or SWMLS Board of Directors! 

Directors meet a minimum of ten times per year with additional obligations as needed. Regular attendance and participation is required. 

GAAR BOARD POSITIONS OPEN
Officer Positions

  • President-Elect (1-year term), elected member will automatically serve as the 2020 President and 2021 Past President
  • Vice-President (1-year term)

Officer Qualifications

  • Meets qualifications below for Directors
  • Must be a REALTOR® who has served as an Officer or Director of GAAR within five (5) years of nomination
  • Prior to nomination, must have had at least five (5) transactions that closed in prior twelve (12) months AND/OR be a Qualifying Broker of at least five (5) agents

Director Positions

  • Four (4) Director positions for 2019-2020 (2-year term)

Director Qualifications

  • Member of the Association for at least three (3) consecutive years prior to nomination
  • No Code of Ethics Violations or non-compliance of membership duty in last three (3) years

SWMLS BOARD POSITIONS OPEN

Officer Positions

  • President (1-year term), elected member will automatically serve as 2020 Past President
  • Vice-President (1-year term)
  • Treasurer (1-year term)

Officer Qualifications

  • Meets qualifications listed below for Directors
  • Must have one (1) year of service as a Director of GAAR or SWMLS within five (5) years of nomination, OR have been a SWMLS committee member within the last five (5) years

Director Positions

  • Two (2) Director positions for 2019-2021 (3-year term)

Director Qualifications

  • Must be a REALTOR® member and Participant/Subscriber in a SWMLS office for three (3) consecutive years prior to nomination
  • No Code of Ethics Violations or non-compliance of membership duty in last three (3) years
