Take the Fairhaven 2.0 Challenge – Set the Standard for Fair Housing at GAAR

At GAAR, we believe that ethical service and strong communication are essential to building trust with every client and within every community.

This Fair Housing Month, the Advancing, Belonging, Community & Diversity (ABCD) Committee invites all GAAR members, REALTORS®, and Affiliates alike to take the Fairhaven 2.0 Challenge.

This updated, interactive training goes beyond the basics—it’s designed to help you recognize bias, communicate more effectively across differences, and respond to real-world fair housing scenarios with professionalism and confidence.

Let’s lead by example. Take the challenge. Sharpen your skills. Show your commitment to fair and equitable housing for all.

Why take the challenge?

Fairhaven 2.0 is an interactive, updated training that places users in real-life scenarios where they confront housing discrimination and bias. It provides critical insights and tools to help us recognize and respond to unfair practices—reinforcing our role in protecting the dream of homeownership for all.

Fairhaven 2.0  counts towards the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) Fair Housing Training Requirement. This updated version of Fairhaven is designed to meet the specific learning objectives and two-hour minimum time frame required by NAR, making it a suitable option for members to fulfill their fair housing training obligation.
